On Thursday September 10th, Fr. Warren Kinne, a Columban priest who has spent the last 20 years teaching and ministering in China will speak at 4pm Hesburgh Center Room C103 on "Can one be a missionary in contemporary China? Reflections of a Columban Priest after nearly 20 years."

He will reflect on his time as a Columban missionary -- someone who taught in Fudan University over a 10 year period; who has been involved as a "spare wheel" to the local church; and as someone who made perhaps a small contribution to the plight of migrant workers in Shanghai.

This talk is co-sponsored by the Liu Institute for Asia and Asian Studies and the Kellogg Institute for International Studies.
