MGA Fellowship

The Liu Institute began offering a full-tuition fellowship to a Master of Global Affairs (MGA) student in the 2019-20 academic year. Starting next year and continuing thereafter, the Institute will fund two MGA students each year—an incoming student and a graduating student of the two-year program.

The inaugural recipient of the Liu Institute MGA Fellowship is Uriel Galace of the Philippines, who is pursuing the MGA’s sustainable development concentration. He previously served as a foreign affairs research specialist at the Center for International Relations and Strategic Studies, a think tank in the Philippine Department of Foreign Affairs.
