Observer reporter, Andrew Bennis, covered a recent flash panel on the Royingya crisis in Myanmar (Burma) organized by student John Scanlon ('18). The panel featured experts from a range of disciplines, and included discussion with the audience. Central to the event was not simply what or why the crisis has emerged, but what can be done about it—both in terms of larger state solutions, and individual options. Faculty panelists included: Ernesto Verdeja (Kroc), Jaimie Bleck (Kellogg), Susan Ostermann (Keough School; Liu), and Dorottya Krisztina Pedryc (LLM Program).
