Taihiro Thompson-Cook is a junior from Los Angeles, California, majoring in Economics with a minor in Japanese. He previously served as a mentor with the Academic Peer Mentorship Program for International students and worked in the office of First Year Advising for Arts and Letters for two years. Additionally, he's currently occupying the vice president position with the Asian American Association (AAA) and the president position with the Japan Club. He hopes to reform the Japan Club into one that authentically embraces Japanese identity and culture, aiming to enrich the Japanese experience on campus for Notre Dame students.
