The late Teresa Teng was considered one of the most influential singers in Asia with a wide repertoire of multilingual songs (including Japanese, Cantonese, and English). “The Moon Represents My Heart” was one of her most well-known hits. In this presentation, we will learn how this Taiwanese girl became a musical superstar and pop culture phenomenon in her heyday, her journey in the US, and listen to some of her classic songs along the way.
