The Critical Language Scholarship provides full funding and programming for 8-10 weeks of critical language study and immersion. This summer experience is equivalent to one year of university language study.
The Boren Scholarship provides up to $20,000 for self-designed study abroad for critical language acquisition.
Both programs promise priority hiring for the U.S. government, and Boren requires that all recipients work for for the Federal government for at least one year.
