Purbayan Chatterjee is one of the foremost sitar players of India.  He received his training from his father, Parthapratim Chatterjee and has been inspired by Pandit Nikhil Banerjee.  His musical style combines the tone and richness of Pandit Nikhil Banerjee with a contemporary touch and urbane sensitivity distinctively his own. He has received numerous awards, including the President of India’s Best Instrumentalist award (at the age of fifteen), the Aditya Vikram Birla award for being a leading musician of his generation in India, and the Rasoi Award from Rotary International.  He has performed at many concert halls and music festivals such as Queen Elizabeth Hall, London, the Sydney Opera House, Konzerhaus, Berlin, Théâtre de la Ville, Paris.  the World Music Festival, Chicago, and the International Music Symposium, Germany. He has released numerous CDs, including some with the Indian classical music band, Shastriya Syndicate.

Anubrata Chatterjee, a leading table player, is the son of the tabla maestro Pandit Anindya Chatterjee.  Nurtured from a very tender age, he has the rare fortune of being the youngest and last formal disciple of Pandit Gyan Prakash Ghosh, and was subsequently trained by his father.  He has performed in solo concerts and as an accompanist at many venues, including BBC World Radio, the Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, Washington DC, the World Percussion Festival, Chicago, the Corfu Festival, Greece and the Dubrovnik Festival, Croatia.
