Hong Kong Protests 2014: Panel Discussion

Pro-democracy advocates in Hong Kong are protesting outside government headquarters and have occupied major city intersections. The protests have led to confrontations with Hong Kong police. Why are these protests taking place? What are the issues at stake? How might these issues be resolved?

In this panel, Notre Dame Asian Studies faculty and students will provide context and understanding for these recent events in Hong Kong, followed by a Q&A session.

Free food will be provided.
