Join the University of Notre Dame Japan Club for our annual cultural immersion trip to Chicago on April 18! This exciting day-long adventure will take you to Mitsuwa Marketplace and the Japanese Cultural Center (JCC), offering an authentic glimpse into Japanese culture, cuisine, and community life. We’ll leave Notre Dame at 9:00 a.m. and return at 10:30 p.m., traveling together for a fun and educational experience.
This trip is a perfect opportunity to connect with fellow students who share a passion for Japan, whether you are studying the language, interested in Japanese culture, or simply curious to explore. At Mitsuwa, you’ll experience Japanese grocery shopping, snacks, and cultural goods, while the JCC will host a hands-on workshop that deepens understanding of Japanese arts, customs, and community traditions.
