Cecilia Kim, assistant professor of film and Liu faculty fellow at the University of Notre Dame, is a video artist whose research focuses on the spaces of otherness, structures of belonging, and contemplating what is lost through translation. A new 4-channel video installation, "Serenade, Where Nights Are Long And Strange," was filmed during a month-long residency in Finland and will be on display at the South Bend Museum of Art over the next two months.
